Died peacefully at her home in Toronto on August 7, 2019 at the age of 68. She is survived by her husband Qaid Silk, son Nihaal Silk and brother Tamim Tyebjee. A wonderful mother and wife, she found her calling as a storyteller and we hope that the stories she told live on in others. Taima wanted to die at home, and thanks to those from the Temmy Latner Centre for Palliative Care who made that possible. There will be a private family service. If desired, donations may be made to Sinai Health Foundation for the purpose of supporting the pulmonary fibrosis program at the Temmy Latner Centre. Condolences received at www.MacCoubrey.com.
