I'm truly sorry to hear about Muriel's passing. I can still hear her voice in the makeup room as she patiently 'did our hair' for our performances. She'd always have funny family stories to share with us to calm our nerves. My deepest sympathy to friends and family.... Cori Arthur

The death of such a soul as Muriel White leaves the world a less beautiful place. During my 35+ years in Cobourg, I had the deep privilege of knowing Muriel and Roly very well through my years of involvement with the Northumberland Players and my many opportunities to collaborate with the Cobourg Concert Band. Muriel always spoke softly, but what she said always demonstrated her warmth, kindness and willingness to contribute so much to the success of all those around her. I know few other people who always seemed to have a positive outlook on the world around her, no matter the personal challenges she may have faced. A more gentle, supportive woman is hard to imagine. She will live in the memory of the multitudes of people she touched through her life.

Muriel will be missed by the many actors who wore her wonderful hairstyles on stage. She entertained us in the Green Room with her stories and educated many young actors about styling their hair appropriately for the period. I will also miss her humour at the table. What a life she led until the end!
