I was so sorry to hear the news about Terry. He was a wonderful, caring, funny, energetic and kind man. I got to know him during my university years as the father of my friend Jodie and as our friendship continued over a couple decades, I spent time with Jodie and her family during summers and other special occasions. Terry was a great sport when we used to call him in the middle of the night to have (slightly) drunken conversations throughout our 4 years at Guelph. And although somewhat perturbed when I’d scream ‘HI MISTER SUTCLIFFE!!!!’ To awaken him, He always let us ramble on and he was always (I believe) happy to hear from his daughter and her friends. The other fond memory I have is that he used to drive all the way up to Guelph just to take Jodie to Swiss Chalet for dinner or lunch :)Terry (or Mr. Sutcliffe) was always a positive man with a smile on his face. The love he had for all of his daughters was so strong and visible. My deepest condolences to your entire family and most especially to my friend Jodie who I know will miss her father in unimaginable proportions. Hugs and Love,Laura
