Peacefully at Streamway Villa on Sunday June 2nd, 2019 in her 99th year. Cicely was the beloved daughter of the late William and Maria Scroggs. Loving sister of the late Ronald and William Scroggs. Cicely is survived by her niece Joyce and nephew Ronald both of England and pre-deceased by her niece Anne. Cicely will be fondly remembered by Debbie Clark and her family. A funeral service will be held Friday June 14th, 2019 at St. George’s Anglican Church, Grafton at 11 am., with visiting in the church from 10 am – 11 am. Interment in Salem Cemetery. I only knew Cicely briefly, having delivered Meals on Wheels to her in the past year. I loved her desire for independence, her warmth and if I could get her talking about gardens, she just lit up. (Cicely was a long serving member of the Cramahe Horticultural Society). Cicely, your spirit flies free now, visiting gardens the rest of us can only dream of. Bless you.
Cicely was the dearest lady. I knew her from the Anglican Church in Colborne. We will all miss her beautiful smile. Rest in peace dear lady.
