Peacefully at the Northumberland Hills Hospital with his family by his side on Tuesday December 12, 2017 in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of Sandra Reisch (nee DeGuire). Loving father of Jeffrey (Brenda), Adele Banning (Tim), Elizabeth Boswell (Dave) and Andrew (Natalie). Cherished grandfather of Jeremy, Ian, Henry, Aaron and the late Alison. Dear Brother of Barbara Goodwin (Terry), Michael (Ileana), Juliane Wilbee (Jim) and the late Alex. Sebastian dedicated his life to his family and educating young minds in Mathematics and Computer Science at Clarke High School in Newcastle. His passion was teaching computer science and later in his career he became a computer consultant for the teachers throughout Northumberland County. He enjoyed the outdoors and moved his young family to a farm to experience country living. He will remain forever in our hearts. A funeral mass will be held at St. Michael’s Church on Wednesday December 20, 2017 at 10:00 am, followed by a reception at MacCoubrey Funeral Home. The family plans to inter Sebastian at St. Michael’s Cemetery. Many thanks to the Golden Plough Lodge and the Northumberland Hills Hospital staff for their outstanding care and compassion. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Children at Risk (supporting autism) (www.childrenatrisk.ca). Condolences may be sent to www.MacCoubrey.com.
