Peacefully at the Northumberland Hills Hospital in Cobourg on Sunday, October 15th, 2017, Ron Chesney at 78 years of age. Beloved partner of Theresa Martin. Cherished father of William (Cindy), Deborah Smith (Noel), Diane Weick (Kevin), Dennis (Candice), Rhonda Snyders (Todd). Loving grandfather of Ashley, Amanda, Shannon, Kristan, Tyler, Meghan, Chase, Viola and great grandfather of Blakely. Dear brother of Robert (Rosanne), Betty Lambertus (Robert), Gerald (Marion), Marlene Teed (Willard), Donalda Bester, Jackie Poechman (Claire), Nadine Anstett (Allen), Tom (Jenny). Predeceased by William, Grace, Gladys, and James. Uncle to many nieces and nephews. Also missed by Theresa's children, grandchildren and extended family. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Grafton on Wednesday, October 18th at 11 am. Cremation with later interment at Chepstow Cemetery.
