Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at Peterborough Regional Health Centre at the age of 79. Beloved wife of the late Peter Newton (2000). Loving mother of Derek Newton (Lori Seaborn) and Leslie Newton. Proud grandmother of Lochlyn Newton, Nathalie Hotston and the late Kieran Newton. Great grandmother of Evelynn Archer and expecting Ella Noel. Cherished sister of Lawrence Holmes, Helen LaFrance (Serge), Bill Holmes (Margot) and the late Virginia Thomen (the late Eric).
