Thurston; Ronald Purdy, peacefully at home, on Friday, May 14, 2004. Beloved husband of Brenda Thurston (nee Borrie). Dear father of Andrew Gregory Thurston and his wife Gloria of Burlington and Tenley Thurston Kelly and her husband Barry of Holland Landing. Grandfather of Alison Thurston, Tina Thurston, Adam Thurston, Alex Kelly and Drew Kelly. Ron is survived by his brother Willard Thurston of Meaford and predeceased by granddaughter Kelly Dawn Thurston, sister Betty Browne Head of Scarborough and brother Warren Thurston of Deep River. A Celebration of Ron's Life will be held on Saturday, May 22, 2004 at 11 a.m. at the MacCoubrey Funeral Home, 30 King St. E., Cobourg.
