Peacefully at Northumberland Hills Hospital on Thursday May 15, 2014 in his 84th year surrounded by family. Beloved husband of Marlene (nee Mason). Loving father of Ron (Lynne) and Karen Peeples (Bill). Proud grandfather of Tyler (Jen), Kiley, Amanda Beattie (Josh) and Jennifer Peeples, great grandfather of Tyrion Hughes Caffin and Madison Beattie and step great grandfather to Logan and Natalie Ferguson. Brother of Grace Bickle and Edward. Predeceased by his sisters Marian, Evelyn and Lillian. Remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will take place on Saturday, May 17, 2014 from 11 am-1 pm with a funeral service to follow at MacCoubrey Funeral Home, Cobourg. Interment at Cobourg Union Cemetery. Donations in memory of Pete may be made to Northumberland Hills Hospital Palliative Care, Canadian Diabetes Association or Parkinson’s Society.
