Louise Cuthbertson

January 3, 1925 - October 11, 2013

Louise passed away peacefully in her 89th year in Toronto on October 11, 2013.  She was predeceased by her beloved husband David in 2009.  Louise will be greatly missed by her much loved daughters Sally (Jim) Garner, Deborah (David) Johnston, Rosemary (Tiff) Macklem and Celia (Tony Bird).  Louise was a loving grandmother to her nine grandchildren, Kate, Jill, Jennifer, Andrew, Richard, Jamie, Holly, Meredith and Emily.  She will also be missed by her dear sister Mary Jane and many other Ferrier family members.  Louise was born and raised in Ottawa and educated in Montreal at Sacred Heart and McGill University.  She began her married life with David in Montreal, and his career with Alcan took them to New York, São Paulo, Buenos Aires and England.  Wherever the family went she created a warm and happy home.  She and David spent many happy years of retirement at their beautiful farm in Castleton, Ontario.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Grafton, Ontario on Tuesday, October 15 at 11 a.m.  In lieu of flowers, a donation in remembrance of Louise may be made to Northumberland Hills Hospital.  Condolences received at www.MacCoubrey.com.
