Peacefully at the Golden Plough Lodge after a courageous battle with cancer on Wednesday, June 5th, 2013. Beloved husband of Maria Nowee (nee Harte). Loving father of Trudy Nowee (Jim), Pieter (Marilyn), John (Heather), Rick (Lisa) and the late James Nowee. Dear grandfather of Robert, Michael, Stephen, Elisa, Shelby, Dawson, Makayla, Mariah, Ethan, Rieanna and Cyrus and great grandfather of 10 great grandchildren. Brother of Jacques Nowee and the late Willem and Jo Nowee. Friends are invited to call at the MacCoubrey Funeral Home, 30 King St., E., Cobourg on Sunday from 1-4 pm. A funeral service will be held in St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Cobourg on Monday, June 10th, 2013 at 11 am.
