Charles, George Lewis Passed away suddenly at Sunnybrook Medical Centre on Tuesday, December 23, 2003 in his 74th year. George Charles, beloved husband of Anna Marie Charles (nee Hall). Dear father of Heather Charles of Cobourg, Michael (Lisa) Charles of Cobourg, Stephen (Linda Macklin) Charles of Port Hope and Mary Ellen (Mark) Dennis of Cobourg. Dear grandfather of Carrie-Anne, Amanda, Peter, Nathan, Alyssa, Joshua, Holli, Hannah, Jocelyn, Amber and Adam. Brother of the late Ross Charles and the late Emerson (Chief) Charles and Ron Bigwin and Jackie Catherwood. Funeral Service will be held at the Cobourg Alliance Church on Monday, December 29, 2003 at 2 p.m. Interment St. Peter's Cemetery. Friends may call at the MacCoubrey Funeral Home, 30 King St. E., Cobourg on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Comrades of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 133 and Korean Veterans, Unit 33 will meet at the funeral home Sunday at 2 p.m. Those wishing may make memorial donations, by cheque, to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.
