Norman Cheer

April 13, 1922 - February 11, 2012

Cheer, Norman Maurice Peacefully at the Northumberland Hills Hospital on Saturday, February 11th, 2012, Norman Cheer in his 90th year with his wife Laurine (nee Flindall) by his side.  Beloved son of the late Maurice and Myrtle Cheer.  Dear brother of the late Thomas Cheer (the late Eva), and the late Louise Cole (the late Gordon).  Brother-in-law of the late Norman Flindall (the late Isabel).  Loving uncle of Doug Cheer (Gracelynn), Gail Cheer, Joan Belanger (Robert), Barry Flindall (Marianne), Wayne Flindall (Cheryl), and Freda Workman (George).  Missed by several great nieces and great nephews.  Also missed by Trish Flindall.  A Funeral Service will be held at MacCoubrey Funeral Home, 30 King St. E. in Cobourg on Tuesday, February 14th, at 2 pm.  Interment at Cobourg Union Cemetery.  Visitation to be held at the funeral home on Monday, February 13th, from 7-9 pm and on Tuesday for one hour prior to the service from 1 until 2 pm.  Those wishing may make a memorial donation by cheque to St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church or to a charity of choice.  Condolences received at www.MacCoubrey.com
