ROSTETTER, Fraser – (World War II Veteran) – Peacefully with his family by his side at the Palisade Gardens on Saturday, November 12, 2011 in his 91styear. Beloved husband of the late Billie Rostetter (nee Lough). Loving father of Mike Rostetter (Cathy) and Elaine Rostetter-Saunders (Grayson). Cherished grandfather of Kaitlin, Alexandra (Ryan), Darwin (Josee) and Tanys (Chris). Proud great-grandfather of Brooklyn. He will also be lovingly remembered by his extended family. After serving in World War II, Fraser continued his military career until he retired in 1968 as a Warrant Officer and recipient of the UN Peacekeeping Medal. He was a 66 year member of the Royal Canadian Legion. Fraser continued to work in Cobourg at General Foods after his retirement from the military. Friends are invited to come and share memories and laughter with the family at a Celebration of Fraser and Billie’s lives together on Saturday, December 3, 2011 at the Cobourg Yacht Club from 1-4 pm. Those wishing may make donations to a charity of their choice through the MacCoubrey Funeral Home, Cobourg (905-372-5132).
