Turk, Everett - At the Northumberland Hills Hospital, on Sunday, June 12, 2011, at the age of 92. Everett Turk, loving husband of Lillian (nee Minifie) for 72 years. Loving father of Marlene and her husband Don Sandercock of Camborne, Ray and his wife Dorenda (nee McKinlay) of Cold Springs, Linda and her husband Bryce Bonner of South Monaghan and Warren and Cathy Ross of Tweed. Dear grandfather of Scott Sandercock (Cindy), Chris Sandercock (Jane), Lynette Sandercock, Mark Turk (Diane), Kim (Steve Thomas), Brian Turk (Melanie), Laurie (Warren Rody), Lisa Bonner, Lana (Ken Tower) and Hannah (Brennan Lough). Great grandpa of Jeremy (Laura), Jennifer (Ryan) and Bowen Sandercock, Nathan, Andrew and Jordan Turk, Ethan and Kieran Thomas, Ryan and Carson Rody, Emma and Aden Tower and Chloe Lough. Great great grandfather of Tove and Drake. Everett was born in Haldimand Township on September 12, 1918, to the late Thomas Ira and Maude (nee Pillage). He and his wife Lillian, who married in 1938, raised their family of four on their farm in Cold Springs. Both Everett and Lillian were devout members of St. Paul’s United Church, Cold Springs. A funeral service will be held at St. Paul’s United Church, Cold Springs, on Thursday June 16th at 2:00 pm. Visitation, one hour prior to service. Interment Pioneer Cemetery, Cold Springs.
