Herron, Mae Alice - At the Northumberland Hills Hospital Cobourg, on Wednesday December 8, 2010, at the age of 87. Mae Alice (nee Jones) wife of the late Wallace Kenneth Herron. Loving mother of Coral and husband William of Huntsville, Fred and his wife Marilyn of RR #6 Cobourg, Sandra and her husband Donald Armstrong of Port Hope, Reg (Louise) of Colborne, Roger and his wife Laura of RR #4, Cobourg and Shelley and her husband Dave Bromley of Colborne. Dear grandmother of 18 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Predeceased by Luke. Sister of Helen Herron of Roseneath, predeceased by her sister Myrtle. Sister-in-law of Peggy Garland. She will also be missed by her cat Cinder. A memorial service will be held at St. Peter's Church, King St., East, Cobourg, on Saturday December 11, at 1:00 p.m. The Herron family wish to express their gratitude to the staff at both the Victoria Retirement Residence and the Palliative Care Unit, Northumberland Hills Hospital.
