Winkworth, Laura - At Extendicare Cobourg on Saturday, November 8, 2008, in her 97th year. Laura Winkworth (nee Wilson) of Cobourg, formerly of Roseneath and Reading, England. Daughter of the late John and Ellen Wilson (Andrews). Loving wife of the late Hector Winkworth (1980). Devoted mother of John and his wife Dixie, and Paul and his wife Mary. Sister of the Rev. Wyndham Kent of Christchurch, England and the late Daniel Wilson, Scotland. Sadly missed by her grandchildren: Devon Winkworth and his wife Elizabeth and their children Courtney, Olivia and Cayden (Australia); Birkley Winkworth; Alyssa (Winkworth) and her husband David McCallum and their children Dane, Alexander and Ellianne; Christina (Winkworth) and her husband Warren Coulter and their children Jayden, Joshua and Jonah; Charlene (Winkworth) and her husband Travis Doyle and their daughter Addison. Also missed by her dearest friend Edith Smith. A Memorial Service will be held at St. Peter's Church (Corner of College and King St. E. in Cobourg) on Thursday, November 13th, at 11 am. Visitation to be held at MacCoubrey Funeral Home, 30 King St. E. in Cobourg on Wednesday, November 12th from 7 until 9 pm.
