January 12, 1944 - September 11, 2007

Kenneth Avory ?Benji? Benjamin - 63, of Cobourg, Ontario, formerly of Wolfville, Kings County, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, September 11, 2007 in the Kingston General Hospital, Ontario. Born in Greenfield, Kings County, he was a son of Margaret (Brown) (Benjamin) Whiston, Truro and the late Burton Benjamin. He had been employed as a truck driver with J & F Waste Management in Ajax, Ontario for many years and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, the former Helen Perez; a daughter Kristine Benjamin, Halifax; a son, Bryan (Margaret), Halifax; a sister, Nellie Arnburg (Raymond O'Donnell), New Minas; three brothers, Charles (Barb), Kentville; Albert (Elizabeth), South Alton, Kings County; Clayton (Myrna), Truro; two grandchildren, Morgan and Bryce; several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at MacCoubrey Funeral Home, 30 King St. E, Cobourg on Thursday September 13, 2007 from 2 - 5 p.m. Visitation will also be held at 12:00 noon until the time of the funeral service at 2:00 p.m., Monday, September 17, 2007 in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville, NS. Pastor Thelma McLeod officiating. A reception will follow in the funeral home reception room. Burial will take place at a later date in the Greenfield Cemetery. Donations in memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia, the Canadian Cancer Society or to a charity of your choice.
