With her daughters at her side, on September 23rd, 2022, in her 92nd year, predeceased by her parents John and Freeda Walker. Sally grew up in Leaside, attending St. Clements and Leaside High School. Sally, as a forward-thinking young woman, started her career in 1950, in the insurance and construction industries. She loved to recount stories of summers working at Bigwin Inn in Muskoka. In the late 80’s, Sally shared her passion for local history, as a conference planner, where she met dignitaries from around the globe. Sally is the beloved mother of Sandra MacCoubrey (Scott) and Suzanne Lowrey. Loving grandmother of Melissa and Calum. A celebration of life will be held at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery at a later date. A lifelong cat lover, Sally’s daughters suggest that donations to the Northumberland Humane Society would be appropriate.

Sally was a volunteer with the NHH Auxiliary from 2008 to 2012. Four years of amazing service for our community and our hospital. On behalf of the team and volunteers of Northumberland Hills Hospital we are sending our sincere condolences to Sally's family and loved ones. She is missed by all of us.

We are so sorry to hear of Sally's passing. She was a very happy go lucky girl. I enjoyed the many years of working for Sally and Suzanne in the condos. I enjoyed her stories she shared with me. Sally will be deeply missed.
I didn't know your Mother very well, but we were both members of the Cobourg Probus Club. We enjoyed each others company when we saw "West Side Story" on one of Jenny Herniak's trips. Your Mother was a lovely lady. Katherine Cole
