Paul Joseph Gutteridge

September 17, 1949 - November 15, 2021

Paul “Tut” Gutteridge passed away peacefully at the Northumberland Hills Hospital in Cobourg on Monday, November 15th, 2021, at 72 years of age. Cherished husband of Sandy Gutteridge (nee Burrison). Loving father of Susan Joyce (Andrew) and Joseph Gutteridge (Kristin). Dear grandfather of Lucy, Maggie, Drew, and Miles. Brother of Anita Gutteridge (Chuck), Jane McIvor (Bill), John Gutteridge (Donna), Michael Gutteridge (Sharon), and Carol Gutteridge.
Paul was a talented athlete who excelled in many sports, but was happiest on the golf course. He always enjoyed playing cards with friends at Kelly’s Homelike Inn and the Legion. However, his biggest smile came from spending time with his four grandchildren. He will be greatly missed.
A Celebration of Life to be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make a memorial donation to the Northumberland Hills Hospital Foundation. The amazing care he received at the hospital was very much appreciated.

Very shocked to hear of Paul's passing. Always looked forward to his winter visits to AZ. He also called many of us "you knuckle head" at times with a smile on his face. He also often commented on our pool-shooting capabilities simply by saying "Even Gomer Pyle could make that shot". He'll be missed here at Fountain of the Sun billiard room. Condolences and prayers for the family.

He was fortunate to have had some time to spend with his grand children and also to spend winters in warm Arizona. We enjoyed our visit in Arizona, fun time. He grew up and has had a wonderful family life. RIP, Paul. Hugs to all of you. Bob and Muriel.
