Alison Stokes (nee Broekstra) - February 22, 2021

It is with a heavy heart that I write you this message of condolence to you and your family, Jane. I was so sorry to hear of the passing of Mr. Clarke, your dad and of your mom as well not long ago. I have many fond memories of both your mom and dad. I still can picture clear as day your dad’s smile as I would babble on over one thing or another and ask him a million questions through the fence at Grandmas or when we’d be off doing errands when your mom babysat me . He was always so patient with me. Both your parents always had a genuine kindness and interest in what I’d been up to when I would see them and chat. The last time I saw your dad he was sitting on one of the benches down at the beach during one of his walks enjoying the sunshine and taking in the beauty of the beach. I sat down beside him and had a nice visit and catch up. May you find comfort in your many memories and know that the skies shine brighter as they look down upon us. Thinking of you, Alison
