Peacefully passed away in Palliative Care, NHH, Cobourg on Sunday February 7, 2021 at the age of 93. Loving mother of Stephen Hardy (late Margie), Janis Gilmore (Roy) and the late Peter Hardy. Loving grandmother to John, Richard, Sarah, Ian, Derek, Kevin, Daniel and Kaya. Great grandmother to Matthew, Charlotte, Elliot, Anne and Joshua (deceased). Great great grandmother to Opal. A special thank you to the nursing staff in Palliative Care and also to Dr. Bayer. A private family gathering to remember her life will take place at a later date. Donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
Sending my heartfelt condolences with the passing of dear sweet Betty ..I was Betty’s girl Friday for many years and I will treasure the time I spent with her.. I will never forget her sense of humour...we were always laughing...Betty was definitely one of the strongest women I have ever met & I will miss her deeply but never forget her ...Bless your family ..
