Passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health in Oshawa on October 31st, 2020 in his 86th year. Loving father of Audrey and Shelia. Loving grandfather of Cailin, Evan, and Ellyce. Brother of Rosemary, Vincent, John, Bryan, and Olga. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Cobourg on Wednesday, November 4th, 2020 at 1:30 p.m. Those wishing to attend, must RSVP the Funeral Home at 905-372-5132 during business hours (9 am - 5 pm). If desired, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Parkinson Canada.
Audrey & Sheila, My sympathies to you and your families on behalf of the Lariviere family (Montreal area). I have stumbled upon your father's obituary today and you may not remember who I/we are, but we have celebrated Christmas together in the past, at my Aunt Gerry (Sissy) and your Uncle John's house in St. Lambert. I was always liked your Dad and as a very shy kid I found conversation with him was easy and comfortable. Wishing you serenity during this Christmas season.
He will be missed at out Parkinson Support Group Meetings when they resume post COVID. We enjoyed his pleasant smile and effort to participate.
