As a work mate Jamie was a gentleman always willing to help me and anyone with their IT concerns....still the best IT support we every had, that we still miss! On a personal note we enjoyed the same GM vehicle and NASCAR passion (Got it bad). We spent many hours planning homes and renovations. All memories we will cherish! One of our shared experiences was selling his and Bev's NASCAR Talladega tickets on ebay, when ebay was a new thing. A story that included a hurricane, lost tickets, and we are all going to jail if more than one ticket shows up.... it was quite the story that we reminisced often. Jamie and Bev through their company, Press any key, supplied us with and supported our family computers. Including both Mike and Vicky's first computers, Jamie spending time with them showing all the features of their new computers. The start of their life's passion and careers in IT. He will truly be missed! You are all in our thoughts during this sad time. God bless and take care.

I am so sorry to hear of Jamie's passing. I had the good fortune of working with Jamie for many years and the support he provided to my colleagues and me was an important factor in all of our successes. Jamie exhibited a helpful attitude well beyond his formal job responsibilities, approaching the technical and organizational challenges with a strong sense of humour. He was particularly adept at finding creative ways to work around a sometimes inflexible bureaucracy, and I well remember his impish smile when he would look me in the eye and say something like "I'm really not supposed to do this..." then proceed with the fix that we both knew was right, rather than wasting a whole lot of time following the formal process. Jamie was also a great teacher, and much of my computer knowledge can be traced back to his tips and hints. I will remember him fondly.

Jamie, I may not have known you and your wife Bev personally but you both would go out of your way to say Hi at the arena and when I worked at Tim Hortons we created a bond so good that when I was the one taking orders at drive thru, no matter which location and you would pull up and do a little laugh and say to me, “I will take the usual” and I knew and rang it in the register and other workers would be so surprised from it. I have missed things like that since I left but believe me it will never leave my memory because it’s people like you and Bev that would make my shift go so much better especially if it was a hard day. The only thing that he was more dedicated to than "Press any Key" was his family. The fact that his grandson is taking over the business just goes to show this. Most of our conversations started with some PC related issue I was having and almost always ended with discussions revolving around Nascar or some Cool tech gadget he recently bought and is testing out. Please know that the whole Walter’s family was a huge part of my upbringing as a young boy growing up in the east end of Cobourg. Jamie and I became best of friends in the 60’s. I have many fond memories of some of the shenanigans we would get into and still came out ok! We stood up for each other in our weddings. We got our drivers license at the same time, thats when all hell broke loose. I could go on but will keep the rest in my treasured memories. Please accept my sincerest condolences at this time.
