Peacefully at the Golden Plough Lodge on Tuesday, April 9, 2024, at 98 years of age. Beloved wife to the late Fred Bowman (1972). Devoted Mother of Earl Bowman (Marlene), Gary Bowman (Nancy), Shirley Basinger (the late Tom Basinger) and stepson Arnold Bowman (June). Dear Grandmother to Lindsay Clow (Ron), Michael Bowman, Sarah Bowman (Dave), Erin Filman (Shaun), Amy Skinner (Kevin), Kimberly Sitarski (Brandon), Angela Weatherhead (Michael), Marjorie Bowman (the late Paul), John Bowman (Laurie). Great Grandmother to eighteen and Great-Great Grandmother to one. Audrey will be missed by many nieces and nephews.
Pre-deceased by her parents William Albert “Bert” McKinlay and Edith McMann, Stepmother Gaye McKinlay (Mott) and Brother Ross McKinlay (Grace).
Audrey led a full life, farming with her husband Fred in Plainville, where they raised their children. They were very involved members of the Plainville Church and community. After moving to Cobourg in 1966 Audrey was employed by the Golden Plough Lodge for 18 years and an active member of Trinity United Church Community. Audrey had a passion for travelling after retirement and truly loved quilting, crafting, and playing cards with her family and friends. Audrey will be missed by many.
The family would like to extend sincere gratitude to the staff at the Golden Plough Lodge for their care and compassion during Audrey’s time there.
A Celebration of Life will take place at MacCoubrey Funeral Home, Reception Center on Saturday, April 20th from 1-4pm. Private interment at Plainville Church Cemetery. Donations can be made to the Golden Plough Lodge.

My sympathy to cousin Audrey's family, as you say goodbye to your mom. We grew up on adjoining farms many years ago, so we were closely connected in various ways. I remember those days spent near Plainville, where Audrey's and my family often were part of the community mix. Marian Davidson.

Audrey was a very special member of the Trinity Church family for many years who I got to know through church activities.
