Leonard "Kelley" Krakenberg

February 24, 1967 - September 6, 2019

Kelley was a loyal husband, devoted father and the best of brothers and best friend to so many people. He was the most devoted and beloved husband and soulmate to Patty Krakenberg (Pinet) for over 25 years. He was also an amazing father to his girls Shye and Maiah Krakenberg who he loved with all of his heart. He called them Mooey and Dooley. He was so proud of the young women they had become. When he spoke of his girls you could feel the love and he’d choke up talking about them, his love was so strong.  He leaves behind an enormous family.

He is predeceased by his father Paul Krakenberg, who left us all just two short weeks ago, and mother Pauline Krakenberg (Quinn).

He will be dearly missed by his step mother Kathleen Krakenberg and his siblings Ken Krakenberg (Bonnie), Kathy Krakenberg, Kirk Krakenberg (Kelly) and Kris Krakenberg (Meri) and many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews from both his and Patty’s family. He is also survived by his many in-laws with Patty’s family.  Lovingly remembered by his sister-in-law’s: Elizabeth (Charles), Emily (Frank), Annette (Harold), Marie (John), Bernie (Ron), Brenda (Bob), Jane (Dave), Lynda (Boris) and Sandra (Jim). Also by his brother-in-law’s: Emile (Ronnie) and Don.  And predeceased by brother in laws, Robert and Charles. He has left an imprint on all of our hearts and touched the lives of everyone he knew.

As we have seen in the past few days with the steady stream of people coming to the house, with hugs and food, plus the loyalty shown by these friends. It is helping us all keep going at this difficult time. We have never seen a man referred to as “my best Friend” by so many men visiting and offering any help we may need. They aren’t just friends they are family as well. He was a fierce and loyal friend, loving son, and amazing uncle, a devoted and sensational husband, incredible brother and an amazing dad. He was the hardest worker, a wonderful mentor, and perfect role model. A man of few words with a heart big enough to touch so many lives.
